DAVID SLOAN WILSON, Biological Sciences, $95,902 from the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love for “Altruistic Love, Evolution, and Individual Experience.”

WILLIAM ISBELL, anthropology, $75,398 from the National Science Foundation for “Conchopata Archaeological Analyses 2003.”

LISA YUN, English, General Literature and Rhetoric, $139,607 from the Freeman Foundation and JOHN CHAFFEE, History, $325,749 from the Freeman Foundation, for “Asian Studies Integration Initiative.”

K. HARI SRIHARI, Systems Science and Industrial Engineering, $87,865 from Sanmina for “Research in Electronics Manu-facturing.”
